As part of the slides to prints conversion we will: 

• Inform you when your slides arrive

• Blow off loose particles such as dust with compressed air

• Sort your slides by film type (Kodachrome vs. non-Kodachrome) and film size (110,126, 127, 35mm, etc.) and label them by stacks

• Scan them (upon request we can send you the first images to review)

• Crop the image to the correct aspect ratio of the print size

• Rotate to proper orientation

• Fix exposure issues, meaning that we lighten up the images that are too dark and that might have detail information in dark areas of the image

• Fix color casts

• Adjust tonal range (black to white pixel distribution)

• Sharpen the image 

• Quality Check

• Save images as JPEG files.  The images will be kept as uncompressed TIFF files throughout the whole process for highest quality

• Place them in folders (if requested)

• Automatically label the images

• Burn them onto CD or DVD (included in price)

• Print them.

The prices above are based on 4x6 prints but we can make prints up to 30x40 for you.  

For 127 format slides please add $0.40/slide to the price above.
