127 format slide scan pricing is $0.89/slide. Stereo Slide / 3D slide scan pricing is $0.30 in addition to prices above (for 1 of the 2 images of the stereo slide). Pricing includes dust removal via Digital ICE as well as basic digital image enhancements.
Price list for our Print/Photo Scanning service:
Pricing is based on 300 ppi scan of a 4x6 print. We clean each image with a lint free cloth before we scan it. Scans at higher resolutions are available. We can scan up to 6,400 ppi with optical resolution and 9,600 ppi with Micro Step based on your needs - the pricing will then be based on the actual time that it takes us. Hourly rate is $40 including all material and workstation. Even though the price above lists a 4x6 scan as standard, we can scan much larger images. Let us know your needs and we will work with you.
Price list for Medium Format film:
The pricing is based on 6x6 cm medium format images. We can also scan 6x4.5, 6x9, 6x12 as well as any other size transparencies. For B&W medium format images we highly suggest having them fluid mount scanned which makes a huge difference in the final image quality.
Price list for Large Format film:
The pricing is based on 4x5 size images. We can also scan odd sized transparencies. For B&W large format images we highly suggest having them fluid mount scanned which makes a huge difference in the final image quality.
Price list for 35mm Negatives:
The pricing above is per image based on the understanding that each strip has 2 or more images per strip. If you require only selected images per strip then it is $0.69 per image on a strip. Scanning loose one-image pieces are $1.19 per image. For B&W negatives we highly suggest having them fluid mount scanned which makes a huge difference in the final image quality. 35mm negatives are scanned at 1,500 ppi which will provide an image of about 1,800 x 1,200 pixels which is more than sufficient for computer monitor viewing, HDTV, and the perfect size for 4x6 prints at 300 dpi. Higher scans up to 4,000 ppi are available for additional $.05 - $.15 per image depending on the resolution. Pricing includes dust removal via Digital ICE as well as basic digital image enhancements.
Price list for Photo Print services:
The prices above are based on 4x6 prints but we can make prints up to 30x40 for you. We will need a digital image to start from. You can therefore either provide your own digital image or we can continue with the digital image that we generated for you as part of one of our digitization services. The above pricing includes the taxes and shipping from the printing company.
Price list for DVD slideshows:
A DVD slideshow is a wonderful way to present your slides. Just sit back and enjoy it while it plays calm background music and shows smooth transitions between images. DVD slideshows include a menu, chapters, titles, transitions, and music. The DVD is a DVD-R to be played in your DVD player or computer disc drive.
Price list for Tape Conversions:
We can convert the following motion film items:
The pricing above applies to the listed kinds of tapes. The film reels are 16 cents/foot. We can arrange for Mini-DV tape conversions as well. As part of this service we will take the data straight off of your tape, digitize it, and place it onto an auto-play DVD. We can also place the digitized media as .AVI file onto an external harddrive so you can make your own modifications and movies.
Image Restoration The hourly rate is $40. This includes material and the workstation. Since photo restoration highly depends on the condition of the image we decided to perform this service at an hourly rate vs. a price per image. However, we will gladly provide you a fixed price estimate for your image. We will send the image back to you at no cost or S&H if you decide not to move forward with it. You can also consider to send in a quick scan of it if you have a scanner. The actual photo restoration should be done starting with a scan from one of our scanners. This is an interesting field since it allows us to restore an old image to its original state or sometimes even better. This works very well on images that have a color cast or need some other modifications done in order to look natural again.
Custom Services All work that is not performed as part of the fixed prices are considered custom services and are being charged at $40/hour. This includes material and the workstation. NO custom work is being performed without your approval. We can provide a fixed price estimate for most items if it is preferred over the hourly rate.
