Price list for 110, 126, and 35mm slides:

127 format (shown as 4th one from left in top row of samples below) scans pricing is $.89/slide.

Stereo Slide scans pricing is $0.30 in addition to prices above (for 1 of the 2 images of the stereo slide).

Pricing includes dust removal via Digital ICE as well as basic digital image enhancements.

Slides are scanned at 1,500 ppi (2,000 ppi at no extra charge, if requested) which will provide an image of about 1,800 x 1,200 pixels. This size is more than sufficient for computer monitor + HDTV viewing and the perfect size for a 4x6 prints at 300 dpi.

Higher scans up to 4,000 ppi are available (3,000 ppi - add 10 cents, 4,000 ppi - add 15 cents).

As part of our standard service on your slides we will: 

• Inform you when your slides arrive

• Blow off loose particles such as dust with compressed air

• Sort your slides by film type (Kodachrome vs. non-Kodachrome) and film size (110,126, 127, 35mm, etc.) and label them by stacks

• Scan them (upon request we can send you the first images to review)

• Crop the image to remove the slide frame

• Rotate to proper orientation

• Fix exposure issues, meaning that we lighten up the images that are too dark and that might have detail information in dark areas of the image

• Fix color casts

• Adjust tonal range (black to white pixel distribution)

• Sharpen the image 

• Quality Check

• Save images as JPEG files.  The images will be kept as uncompressed TIFF files throughout the whole process for highest quality

• Place them in folders (if requested)

• Automatically label the images

• Burn them onto CD or DVD.

We can handle all known formats. Our competition is mostly limited to just the standard formats.

Don't worry about proper sorting of the slides (mix-match of formats, top/bottom or front/back sorting) - we will do all this for you as part of our standard price.

Make sure you let us know if you require a special sequence, folders, or naming of your slides - we do all reasonable requests without an extra charge.

The files will be delivered on a CD-R with a custom label that will show your name and the month/year of the conversion.  Let us know if you want something different on the label.

Upon request we can make you a FREE slideshow that can be played on your PC (do not mistake this with a Video DVD slideshow).

All your images will be available for online viewing via your web browser.
